Well you guys arent going to believe this... Since that last practice test I took I sat down with a couple physics books and really drilled the topics I missed on the mechanical comp (pulleys, electrical systems, etc). So I decided to take my last practice test. I had used every other resource like I said, and I was really doubting whether taking my last test was a good idea, but I went ahead and took it anyway. It was from the petersons site so it utilized the old form 1 and 2 format. I almost had a stroke when I calculated the scores this time around. They were as follows:
Oar-78!
AQR-9
PFAR-9
FOFAR-9
Where did that come from?!?! Is that particular practice test just insanely easy? Have you guys all seen higher scores when taking that version? I couldnt believe my eyes when I computed the scores...I checked and rehecked the scoring over and over again to make sure I didnt make any errors. What should I think about this? Obviously if its an easier test there isnt any reason to get excited, but if not, what would this mean? If I were to achieve scores like that on the real thing where would that put me? I know my 3.1 isnt the greatest, even though math isnt the easiest major, but would a 78 and those line scores get me a slot? I have no idea where my LORs are going to come from, other than a couple of professors, and my prt wont be that great unless they let me substitute the run with the swim. Would this eliminate the need for the flight hours on my record? Ive only seen a couple others with scores like this, but they had everything else going for them too (prt, LORs, flight hours, etc). Sorry to rant but this has just thrown me for a loop...Oh and happy new year to everyone!
