I am looking to do good on the ASTB...LOL...I am not worried about the Math or the spatical. I am a private pilot and know most aviation terms but would like something that is a good refresher for the test. I was in the USMC for 5 years, enilisted, and know some nautical terms but nowhere near where I think I should be, need something that is good for that...USMC history I know but what is something good for Navy history...I would prefer something that is more of an overview than in depth but if it helped someone here please share...Also what did you guys find to help you the most with mechanical comp?

Also...

If anyone could remember questions on the test concerning naval terms, history, or aviation terms...I would apprecitate those also.

Dude, I wouldn't worry about it. It's basically what's the difference between port and starboard...What a commodore is...stuff like that. I wouldn't worry about it too much. The naval knowledge section isn't really graded that heavily. If you knock out the math and physics plus the spatial, you will be fine. Good luck. Oh, by the way, the ASTB is NO real predictor of success in flight school. I got minimum scores and I made it through. Take it easy.
