A 3d MAW Marine was drinking responsibly in his barracks room alone, drinking "barracks approved" beverages, not driving, yelling, frowning, puking, arguing with DNCOs, et al when he hit his head on a doorway inadvertently. Next working day his motivated SNCOIC noticed a bump on the Marines head, asked how it happened. A truthful answer ... ("I accidentally hit my head on the doorway .... Yes Gunny I was drinking ... I guess you could call it "drunk" ... Well, I drink a few times a week Gunny but nothing more than a 6 pack ... ) they sent the fucking guy to the SACO for a formal evaluation for alcohol abuse.

We (not necessarily you and me...) have lost our fucking minds. What are we doing?
