In retrospect it makes sense that it isn’t on BOL like that because civilian applicants wouldn’t be able to see it lol

Highly unlikely but I hope we hear something this coming week!! Especially with the other two boards being closed.. hopefully means the processors have way less to deal with

So bunch of officers sit the boards select the candidates, which usually takes a few days (depending), then once that’s completed they send the results back to the processors and they process OCS dates/admin work and the results get released to the commands/recruiters once it’s all said and done.

That’s why I mentioned the other boards being closed cause then that means there is more time for them to finish processing all of the AMDO board selectees and send out the results to the fleet/recruiters.

There is not, there are always applications coming to to be processed for OCS and DCO, there are always comm docs being worked on for DCO, processing of waivers, etc..... the amount of work stays the same what varies is the type of work.

Most boards are done in one day, some like AMDO, IWC or CEC can take a few days depending on the number of applicants. If the number of applicants is high the boards can make sweeping decisions to only look at those with a GPA over x.xx or decide those with certain waivers won't be considered.
