Anthros Question

I am an SNA waiting to class up into NIFE. Just did my anthros and was told I’m DQ’d for T45s because my butt to knee length was over by .5 cm. They did tell me that if I lost weight around my butt (definitely possible lol) I could potentially qualify when they measure after NIFE. Anyone got gouge on this? Thanks

And no need to post the same thing on multiple threads.

Sure…drop a few biscuits off your ass and see how the measurements go.

You wont get measured after NIFE without asking. I got remeasured twice for sitting height. 1st time was a humble walk in and ask in the NIFE flight office, got a remeasure scheduled, they just checked my sitting height, no dice. 2nd time (end of primary) I had ok grades so after asking they routed a request to the skipper and texted me that that day that I could go in and get measured. Shaved my head, bought some compression shorts, jumped off a wall for a while. Still no dice. Womp womp big wing. But never let the dream die dude get really skinny, butt to knee length is tough to game.

I worked with a great guy, Marine and much younger than me, who was quite short. When he got measured he was told he could fit in either the Cobra or Huey but nothing else. I always thought it must have been comfortable knowing what you’d fly while going through flight school, especially primary. I think his brother was a Cobra pilot as well.
