.........and its obviously full of people that dont know when to shut their mouth and speak when spoken to. simple question requires simple answer, without any tangents. Sounds like you need to have some kids, so you can tell THEM what to do, cause your daddy skills in this forum just aint cutting it. Every profession has their idiots, and I guess you are keeping that tradition alive and well in the navy. Your're Making Uncle Sam Proud.

And I bet talking like that to your pilots when you were an aircrewman helped you pick up your OCS/SNFO package, right? Cause that is exactly what you are doing right now

...obviously someone upstairs is listening. I was just wondering why we haven't had a loudmouth try to butt heads with the Winged folks in a while.

It's officially a good weekend. :D

lol, wow. well, I do have some advice, first of all, it's probably not a good idea to tell your superiors to shut their mouths and speak when spoken to; I would think as a prior you would know this. In any case you'll learn in OCS. This isn't a completely anonymous forum, and besides, it's a small world, ya know?

As for Pensacola, you might buy yourself an AIM and keep it on the top of your toilet to skim through. It's got a lot of general knowledge that's really good to know starting in Primary and going throughout your flying career. Otherwise, I would enjoy your paid free time while it lasts, party hard and get to know the area, because once the hammer comes down...it keeps pounding.

That is all.

Well, it's the Interwebs, right? Not like the guys with wings are actual officers, or flight instructors, or people who know OCS instructors, or guys you may run into on the wrong side of a PRB one day. Things you say on the Internets are totally not-real-life attributable, no one has any way of finding out who you are IRL, and they will absolutely never bite you in the ass.

Right?

Have fun in the program, Skippy, I'm sure your "I demand respect" attitude will serve you well. We'll be waiting for you.

I hate how it's always the "priors" coming in here and making the rest of us look bad.

Easy tiger!!! :D

I resemble that remark.

For every 100 prior enlisted officers there are 1 or 2 that seem to think that their enlisted time puts them way ahead of their peers. That may get some traction in SWO/LDO land, but not in flight school. An ensign is an ensign is an ensign. One of my best friends from college was also in my flight school class, and this dude had been an enlisted SEAL for 6 years. He never got to cut any corners and had to do the same song and dance that everyone else did. If someone thinks that they are exempted from having to show basic respect because they did a few years on an HSL det, then good luck.

You are douchetastic....way to make the rest of us look bad. Have fun in OCS, you will go far with your 'tude...

Oh, and you might as well subscribe to Baseops or somewhere else because you pretty much took such a big shit in your own cockpit that this plane will never fly again...

I'm not going to flame on you because I don't have the standing, but I will answer your original question:

Practice your drinking.

gcmoftex,
It looks like you've gotten off to a bad start. Take a deep breath, relax, and try again. Most of us are here to help. You will run into quite a few of us during your journey for NFO wings...oh, lets see...maybe Fester, Hozer, and myself. I'd ask that you adjust your attitude, otherwise you will find yourself working twice as hard to achieve your goal.
