It seems like the WC-130's did the vast majority of flights that I read about during Ike and Dolly this year, FWIW.

The USAFR has 10 WC-130's, NOAA has 2 WP-3D's. Pretty easy to figure out why there are more WC-130 flights, even taking into account USAF crew rest rules.
