I got my information from Mr. Williams.

Below is the email for reference. I submitted only transcripts showing my degrees conferred and was good to go. The questions posed in the email that this is a response to are "I had a medical waiver and had a partial pass, will this be a concern" and "I have taken courses through a lot of colleges through NCPACE do I need a transcripts from each one"

"BM2(EXW) Gates,

Along with annotating the results for each PFA, you are required to submit your last three PFAs PRIMS printout. See attached Fleet OCS checklist for clarification. If the credit and GPA is indicated on the final/conferred degree transcripts, then no you do not need to submit each College transcript.

The same rule applies for OCS applicants, the key phrase is " If the credit and GPA is indicated on the final/conferred degree transcripts" so as long as classes from college A, B, and C are on the graduating transcript for college D, that is all you need.

To clarify on my situation, only transfer credits were reflected. Grad GPA is only one that went up.

Remember we are fleet applicants y'all. Don't play with fire and try the same thing, your OR and processor will steer you right ;)

Good Evening,
I am submitting right now and have transcripts from several different schools that I transferred into a final program at Excelsior College. It seems redundant to submit transcripts for all schools and it's a bit confusing. Should I just submit transcript with college that graduated and conferred degree with?

AO2
All college transcripts are required for each degree noted.

Hopefully they will look at where you are now and the improvement that you made. I wouldn't sweat it, not much you can do to change what happened in the past, just hope what you have done since out shines it.

I could retake the ASTB at any time for the last time (last time was in may).... Im not sure what else i can do to improve score. Any suggestions.......
First of all... your present 48 OAR is OK for SWO, but hiking it with another retake would help.

Secondly, your ASTB scores on the retake are still too low, probably not very competitive for SNA/SNFO consideration.

Therefore, another retake is recommended to hopefully improve all scores and make you more competitive. There are at least 3 appllcants here on AW, who have each posted scores in the 8s & 9s, along with AORs in the 60s. They also posted helpful gouge of what study pubs they found most helpful in attaining their awesome scores. Do some research here on this site, and find the helpful gouge they posted, PM them for advice?, study hard, then retest & improve (do what the winners do)!

You mentioned you have no LORs in your package... why? Sounds like you may be attached to the forward-based CVN, or CVW-5 squadron? If so, you should be able to obtain quality LORs from Officers/Supervisors who know you (DHs, DivOs, CMC, shop CPO/LPO), and can vouch for your leadership potential, initiatve, work habits and other Officer-like qualities. Good, well written LORs are golden, and a great opportunity to really improve your package.

Regarding your GPA, no use stressing over it, as "it is what it is" and can only be improved by continuing high grades in future study. The overall final GPA you posted (3.05), is not bad (somewhat above minimum... depends on your major), and is competitive.

As an AO, I would think you would want to obtain a commission in aviation (SNA/SNFO)? If so, you'll have to really boost your ASTB scores on the final retake.

As a prior myself, just my take on your 'sitch', good luck!:)

To piggy back, I strongly suggest getting a LOR. As you compete here and elsewhere, you goal is to beat/stalemate the guy/gal with all the same stats as you, save for being stronger in your weakest area. In this case, your missing LOR.

IUGUY,

I am a prior enlisted with a degree from Excelsior College like you and ASTB scores similar to yours (5/6/6/48) and currently a SNA starting jet training soon (if we ever get a budget to do so). Keep pressing and go for it dont worry about your scores so much! I think we have already met before I went to OCS when I was stationed in Yoko. Send me a pm.
