Uh, I think you're missing some sarcasm in his post. For Marine applicants, there is different emphasis on certain things vice Navy applicants. For Marines, PFT is weighted more heavily, while ASTB is pass/fail. Navy is opposite, PFT is pass/fail and higher ASTB seems to weight better for applicants. If you're an Air Contract, that's your MOS group, and you won't be drafted into being a Ground MOS.
