At a community college

It is/was an NROTC requirement for folks of all majors. My memory on this one has faded but I think it was a term or two of calc and calc based physics

I remember the Naval Reactors screener talking about this, I do believe it is 2 semesters of calc and physics or 2 quarters of calc and physics.

MIDNJAC is correct. Those courses gave people alot of trouble and some guys made the decision to switch to Marine Option since the Marines didnt require those courses. Not sure if that's still the case

Hey guys, I know it's been 13 years haha but Im looking into this stuff now. I just got accepted for BDCP and had a 3.8 GPA for Electrical Engineering at CC. Im in my first semester at a 4 year university after transferring, and the semester is going rough so far. If I have a trash GPA to start at the 4 year, will it hurt me even though my last 2 years have been awesome? My college does not count my GPA at CC and I will have a new cumulative thats a lot more susceptible to being hurt by poor grades than my 3.8 with 2+ yrs of history. Can I get into trouble for my university GPA being bad? Or will they take into account my entire GPA based on transcripts? Thanks!

What exactly are you asking? You’ve been selected for BDCP, so now you must meet GPA requirements each semester.

If your GPA was an issue you wouldn’t have been selected.

At university, they do not count total GPA, just the classes you've taken with them, so my CC GPA is not used anymore. Will the Navy always look at my cumulative from both schools? Or just start looking at my new cumulative for the university I am at?

Your current term GPA, if you fail to maintain at least a 2.8 each term you can be removed from the program.
