Boot knives

I often considered carrying a potent Stink Bomb!

Not quite lethal, but it would keep those Gomers away at a distance for a time without riddling me with 7.62x39s.

Seriously, I gave my brother-in-law who is 71 years old, a small boot knife as a stocking stuffer this Christmas. I did it half in jest, and half for real. He loved it! (But he walks in a badass part of town, too.) :)
I carry a boot knife to fight off the ZOMBIES.;)

Are they all in your seatpan or do you just stash them all in your pockets?

Well, that explains why he wants a boot knife. All of his survival gear from his vest that he doesn't wear is filling up his pockets so the knife won't fit!

Just go to the exchange and buy a good sheathed knife. Oh, and stick it on your vest. Seriously... if you ever need it, your vest will be sufficient, and putting it on your boot will be a pain in the ass until then.

Don't give him a hard time. It's a well-known fact that vests muss one's ascot and spoil the line of one's midriff.

In all seriousness, I saw 127 Hours and I'm never leaving the house without a well-sharpened multitool ever again.

Sorry for nerding out, but is the boot pouch thing pretty common in your community? It seems like a less than ideal place to have stuff when you have to ride the lightning. Also, wear do the leg straps for the seat attach for you guys. This set up here would work on the seat in the Harrier, but not on the NACES seat simply because that's where one of the leg garters goes.

No, it's not common. Just something I've been looking at.

None of our fighters have leg garters. Only the T-38 and T-6, I think.
