Kinda tough to fly the MH-53E in the Marine Corps. CH-53E Super Stallion is what you probably mean...You could always be a rotorhead and fly the Sea Dragon. Kinda comparable to the Herc I guess?

I guess I dated myself...
I'm with you, that DASC(A) is a capability we should have. I guess once the higher ups realize, the Reserves will be tapped even more...
Phrog - sorry I can't put DASC on the list, I talked to the 3D MAW CG and told him to work on it. He will be getting back to me.
Are you a GO? Either that or you have huge balls.
My balls are huge, but I was just jokin ...
Everyone at my station wants to be Jet pilots...So our OSO has only got Jet pilots (Hornet, & Prowler) to visit and speak with us. No Herc love in socal .
I was wondering if there was any pubs/lit on Marine pilots with the Herc?
Wow. If only there were Hercs in SoCal...
A boy can have a dream, right?
Yeah - I dream that you guys would quit delaying my takeoffs because you are on a 20-mile final with a dreaded 3-engine landing.
(Just kidding. I love Hercs, especially your RGR...which, due to the markedly NON-rapid nature of the process, proves that Meatloaf was right when he said that 'Two Out of Three Ain't Bad.')
Hey, we never know when we might lose a second eng, and if we have #3 & #4 shutdown, the coffee doesn't come out of the pot correctly ... priorities man.
And with regards to RGR, I don't believe in helo aerodynamics and the day your luck runs out I want to make sure I can still have time to run away when I see you lose control of that whirling shitcan of death (even if you are taxiing on the deck) and go plowing into 50,000 lbs of Herc and gas ... so I like it sloooooooooow. :icon_wink
