Is there such a thing as an Army rotary-wing pilot transitioning over to fly FW aircraft (i.e. C-130) for the USCG via DCA?
I've heard of it happening but I'm not sure what circumstances would cause the Coast Guard to do this or what their training pipeline would look like. AFAIK, the guy I've heard of that did it definitely didn't have any military fixed-wing time but I'm not sure if he had any civilian airplane ratings (if the USCG even cares about this).
