First, the mere fact that you suggested he used his mac for gaming is LAUGHABLE. Macs aren't for gaming. That's why I own a PS3. PC gaming is more expensive than buying a Mac for personal use.

Your entire argumant is based on the assumption that both the PC and Mac are being used identically (e-mail, web, office suite, etc.). When you take one out of a particular arena (in this case gaming) your argument falls apart.

I am amazed at your last sentence. Are you saying that you have spent more than a $1000 (price of a moderate mac) to get a PC ready for gaming?

Don't forget that it is gaming that drives PC evolution (getting more fps, 3D depth, etc.). If all we needed a PC for was spreadsheets, web, and e-mail, they wouldn't have the horsepower they have now.

For the Mac it is horsepower for graphics/film that has driven its evolution.

Exactly correct.... Even if you were to design a PC made for gaming, and compare it with a cheaper mac, the PC would still be cheaper.... Trust me, i've done it.

Your mac is like a $9000 pair of 'Gucci' shoes. Yeah you are in the 'in' crowd for owning them... They probably look really good and all the kids at school think you are really cool because you have them.... But my $50 Oasics are way more comfortable and are way more versatile.

The reality of the situation is that at one time in your life, you were really lonely and had a deep, deep technological insecurity rotting away your soul... You compensated by going and spending wayyyy too much money on a computer that you thought all the girls would like because it had a glow in the dark 'apple' on the back of it.

Come to find out, the girls only wanted the manly men that owned real computers. The bottom line is that you learned and are now a more complete person.

I have had PCs my entire life, and was an avid anti-apple person (tree hugging hippies, liberals, et al). The problem is like buying domestic cars, eventually you realize it's inferior product and it just doesn't matter what ideals you were using before. I've been waiting for the new iMac to come out, when it does I will switch to Apple.

If I don't have any plugs, EXPLAIN how I am online!

Laptop batteries have come a long way... Must charge it at the squadron during the day... At night you're all set... You park next to a starbucks when you get off for the day... steal the internets, and repeat the next day...:D

I prefer PC. All of my stuff is for PC. If it breaks I know how to fix it.

I have no clue how to use a mac. If it breaks I don't know what to do. I know how to crawl inside of my pc and fix things. I don't want to learn a new computer.

And the mac commercials are funny but stupid. My PC will surf the internet and do all the "cool" stuff a mac will do. Kinda like the alltell commercials. Do you want a "cool" cell phone or one with a nerdy guy who's there to fix all your problems?

I like my PC.

The PUMA has power, AC, hot water, a shower, toilet, king size bed, fridge, stove, freezer, heat, and AC/DC power systems.

Oh, and it's wired for cable too. I use a Sprint AirCard (aka PumaNet) to get online normally.
