Good evening all,

I am creating as a dedicated COPTR thread. I would like some more background on COPTR and wanted to see if anyone has gone through the program. I haven’t seen much info except that it’s a contractor ran helo primary. All I know about the program is what’s online and the little discussed in the forums.

There are two threads that have been discussing it here and here. Go ahead and ask away in one of those after reading.

Bottom line: almost every winged helo aviator that's been in the fleet the last 20 years (many who were also IPs) recommends not volunteering for it, but ultimately you have to choose what you think is right for you.
