There is a big white board that has everyones last name on it (little magnets with your name on it). If on the left side of the board your name will be in categories showing what you need to get done as part of your check-in, such as NOMI physical, legal, IFS etc ...
Once you complete all the necessary stuff, you move to the right side of the board, where your name will be put in the row for your projected API class. It might move around some over there, but getting to that side will give you a pretty good idea of when you will start API.

Is that for SNA, SNFO or for both?
My roommate and I started IFS 17 days ago after being on board for about 4 weeks and two of my roommates started 2 weeks before me after being on board for 2. All four of us are SNA, but there's an SNFO from my OCS class that started at the same time. However, A-Pool has gotten pretty huge recently so I'm not surprised the wait time has ballooned. Pensacola's not the worst place to live though, so you can always just drink to pass the time.
both, its prob a little shorter if you are IFS complete. The Marine pool is swoll up right now. With more Marines checking in from TBS soon. It will be backed up for a while.
