Eh, I can kinda see both sides here. Mostly his though. After listening to the guy talk I like him. It's clearly not irresponsible when they still have to go through the background check obviously. And I don't really see anything wrong with their slogan. I was cracking up there at the end!
I can't understand the hatred toward an inanimate object. Somehow, because it is capable of semi-automatic fire as a "semi-assault" weapon (wtf is that anyways) it is automatically evil, and for owning it, you are an overzealous right wing nut.
The guy knows his stuff and is able to articulate his point very clearly. I found it a very clever way to try and sell a few more trucks. My favorite part is... "what would Jesus do?" ... "well mam, back then they didnt have guns so if he carried a weapon it would be a sword.... but he was so powerful he didnt need one!"

No... but I guarantee you if I ever needed to defend myself, I'd rather have an ak47 than my sig sauer p226. People carry handguns because they are a practical way to defend themselves. You can't say that this gun is ok to protect yourself with, but that one is too big and scary.
As far as her "assault weapon" argument... I guarantee you if I was using a gun against you, you will feel assaulted no matter what type of gun it is.

That was my point. If she would have been a guy what she said would have been just as dumb. But of course if it was a dude the response would not have included pimp or whatever the equivalent of slut is.
