December 16 2018 OCS Class

Hello everyone,

I was originally slated for the 25-Nov-2018 class, but a car crash and a traffic ticket for “Improper Lane Change” that was not made payable in time has pushed me to this class. At any rate, I’m happy to be here, and drive safe!!!

Also, has anyone created a Facebook page for this class?

Hey all, heard from my recruiter earlier today about holidays. Sounds like we'll be able to take holiday leave from either 21 Dec to 29 Dec OR 29 Dec to Jan 6. During that time training wouldn't progress and we'll be doing duty rotations.

I too had the same question for my recruiter, but I was informed that we go straight through the holiday season with no breaks (except maybe a lighter PT and a halfway decent meal on Christmas Day).

Last year the folks at OCS over the holidays got a long break and were allowed to go home. Couldn't tell you if it's changed or not, but just a data point.

Hey guys I’m here at OCS. I got hurt so it’s looking like I’ll be joining 08-19. I originally came in With 03. I highly recommend everyone to run, run, run!!! Running is crucial here. Lifting weights and being huge won’t help. Running and calisthenics is all we do and we do a lot of them. If you have questions hit me up. I look forward to seeing y’all!

Just got my PROREC-Y and FINSEL simultaneously for this OCS date. Completely short notice but I'm excited nonetheless, can't wait to see y'all there!
