Interesting day for the Russian AF. Apparently an A-50 was shot down over the Sea of Azov. UKR is also claiming to have caused considerable damage to an IL-22, also over the Sea of Azov.
Reported picture of the IL-22M that was hit, and a forced emergency landing.
Looks like a few patches, a good buff, and she'll be ready for a full A-card in a few weeks. 😄

Sort of looks like parts of the lower empennage are smoldering, but probably just light reflections.
The damage to the fuselage looks like gunfire but it may have been post crash. Wouldn’t it be funny if this was their first F-16 kill.
Maybe they did, or didn't Maybe they'd been operating fat, dumb, and happy where they were for awhile, without taking into account mobile western supplied AD systems and their ranges?

HVAA-P (if that's what you mean) doesn't do much against a SAM threat.
