There’s always a vulnerability, no matter how the power is made / delivered. Look at what recently happened in Gary, IN. It took 2 weeks to restore due to wx (no comment on the efficiency of their response). Same happens after a hurricane. Turkey Point nuclear plant was ground zero for Andrew; however, it was all the damage caused by individual substations, etc that limited delivery.Full scale industrial war on a scale perhaps not seen since WW2: Ukraine launches 1,000 drones at Moscow resulting in major damage to another refinery.
With cheap (numerous) but accurate and long range drones, every nation is going to have to re-evaluate all protection measures around bases and critical infrastructure. Long term, wonder if this will be a factor in nations energy choices as refineries and reactors are quite vulnerable?

Even if we had efficient solar and non-nuclear/oil, there’s still a way to damage the system.
And this event is targeted, considering the ‘election’ in Russia.
