If you are going to let anyone go at all, then you'd better treat him reasonably well while he is in custody, otherwise you are just breeding extremists better than any madrassa could ever hope to. I know some of you would rather keep everyone of them locked up forever, but since this war is likely to go on indefinitely, our ability to stack them like cordwood will someday reach its limit. Besides, many of them are likely completely innocent, believe it or not. You can't just kick the crap out of someone for a couple years, finally figure out he's innocent, let him out, and just say, "Oops, sorry 'bout that."
