Pro rec'd Pilot! Third times a charm! Does anyone know about how long the wait is between Pro Rec and Final Select?

You know I was really hoping to have already heard some word by now. I am wondering if the release of the LDO / CWO results last Wednesday have / had anything to do with the apparent lag in final-select notification. I actually haven't even heard any pro-select word on my package, but being active duty I suppose that that is not protocol. At any rate, some active duty folk received their final select notification from the January 15th board in just seven working days following the 15th!

I just wanted to get others perspectives for my package Ill be putting in next month when I retake my astb. Heres what it looks like right now. I know how awful my astb score looks so I am working on it. But I know its unlikely Im gonna pull a miracle score.

You know where you need to improve, and i'm going to assume that everything you can improve on, you are alredy working on improving.

When I put my package in I had ASTB scores of 50 5/6/6. Which is basically middle of the road. Your GPA looks good, better than my 2.6 at least. and I was ProRec at the Feb boards. Just got done with MEPS yesterday, now I get to wait for a waiver, PRT and hopefully final select for OCS in early May.


And as far as your upcoming ASTB goes, study study study. I'm sure you've heard it, but it doesnt hurt to say it again. Also, practice under the time constraints with a practice test. you've taken it once so you know the layout, that will also help you be more confident the next time around. judging by your join date, i think you know there is plenty of gouge on here that will help... Question:
My recruiter is having me go to MEPS and take my PT before he sends my entire packet in. Is there a reason for this, or is that normal? I was thinking that I would have to wait until I am PRO REC before the rest of my packet is turned in.

It will make the transition time between ProRec and Final Select faster. At least that's what I was told. I am doing everything after I gor ProRec. and my time line is looking around a month/ month and a half before I get final select and then orders for OCS.... If you have it all in, and you get ProRec at the boards, final select shouldnt take much time after that. I was also told it looks good at the boards if you have a high PT score, just one more thing to add to your packet...

My recruiter sent my meps results and pt scores with my package. I was pro rec'd swo and supply so now I am waiting for final select. Hopefully I hear back soon!

Thanks for the input cams. But here's another question. Someone told me that because Im female this will work to my advantage. I know this sounds a little ludicrous to me. But Id love to hear other opinions.

I still have not received my results from the intel and IW boards. My command has the letter according to my source, hopefully I will know soon.
