I believe its supposed to be May 1st
No reason not to believe you but is this just something you heard or is that the "official" date from the OCS office. (I say "official" because I know how things always change)
I have hard copy orders that say grad date 1May15.
^^^^You mean you the lady!!! LOLLOLYou the man, thank you!
The short answer is it all depends on your designator choices, and the needs of the Navy! All have different waiting times. Most people average 6 months to a year, but some take longer. It depends on many different circumstances. If you are truly interested, my Reccomendation is to start immediately and don't wait till January 1!!! Just the kit process can take a couple months. I wouldn't put all your eggs in one basket! Keep up the job search and hope for the best. I wouldn't quit any jobs and try to find employment from your degree in the mean time. Speaking from experience on this one, you are a lot better to start earlier than later!!! After you've read this seemingly endless paragraph, go to Navy.mil and utilize their find a recruiter link, email them, and get started. But I will say you've already gotten a step ahead by joining this forum!!! Good Luck!Congratulations guys!
...Just curious, how long is the average wait time nowadays from when you 1st walk in the recruiters office to when you get your ship-out date?
I am still busy with finishing up my degree and planning to begin the application process this January after I graduate.
-Thanks!
Thanks LOL^^^^You mean you the lady!!! LOLLOL

Coming along pretty good here. I figure the more physically prepared and knowledge prepared I am the better I'll do. Anybody else driving out from the west coast? How's everyone's studying and pt coming along?
