In that last pic with the 3 helo's with the rear bays open, what's going on on those rear bay doors? Looks like Marines just chilling on the bay door, that's pretty awesome if so. Thanks for sharing these pics, just amazing.

Didn't realize Marine 53's bubba's needed so much help!

Maj. Jason Stanley, left, talks with a Marine crew member waiting to take Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice from Cyprus to the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, July 24. Major Stanley, an MH-53M Pave Low helicopter pilot with the 352nd Special Operations Group, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, was providing escort to the Marine helicopter transporting Secretary Rice. What do you mean by help?

Brett

A little digg to our marine '53 bubba friends. The Air Force PR machine at work - obviously the USMC 53's couldn't do the job by themselves - they needed Air Force '53's for "escort". I just thought it was funny - I doubt the Marine 53's needed help from anyone to get Sec. Rice when and where she needed to be..:)

You know... when I look at my jet, I think "wow, that's a big jet".... then I see the Sh!tter... that is a damn big aircraft!

it's like a flying bus in the back. there was one stuffed in our hangar awhile back and i went and poked around a bit. very roomy up front...but a tad greasy pretty much everywhere.

Hopefully when they moved it back, a cleanup crew came and mopped up your hangar floor.

They had a whole lot of those plastic drip pans under it. and everytime I looked out at it, there was some guy mopping some leak up from under it.

but either way, E5B, the pics are great...looks like awesome flying.
