Oh thanks that's good to know. I mean it doesn't make too much of a difference but it is nice to know where we stand.

Got Pro Rec Y for SWO yesterday. Can anyone give me a time table on how long I can anticipate waiting before I ship out?

The key is to not expect anything.
But from what I've seen on here and the current trends, it appears the wait for SWO can be brutally long (6-8 months), the wait for NFO slightly shorter (2-6ish months), and we have pilots getting FS letters that were pro rec'd two weeks ago.

To rehash the SWO dilemma for those who just got pro-rec'd:
Originally, Big Navy thought they were going to have x number of slots they would need to fill with SWO candidates from OCS. That number got chopped somewhere in the middle of the last fiscal year while they were still accepting people under the original number. A bunch of us got pro-rec'd but they ran out of room for us this year. Now we're all getting shuffled into the next fiscal year's numbers. (Same thing is happening to NFOs apparently.) We're not expecting to ship out until July at the earliest.
I would say, definitely don't expect earlier than August/September. Other than that, @jmeff is probably closest to guessing when you'll ship.

Can confirm. I just got my processor to call the PM and that is exactly what she explained to me. I was told no earlier than July for NFOs (and I was selected back in October; given a 'slated' date of 03 May). Enjoy the extended stay ladies and gents!

I have Chief Anchetta. He informed me that I was his first applicant as an officer. I could tell for sure. Last I heard was when he told me I made final selection on Feb. 11 .
