Yeah my accessions officer called yesterday and asked if I would be ready for the NOV 13 class, that's 2.5 weeks after I got my call from recruiter that I was PROREC Y. Unfortunately I have obligations until end of DEC. All the research I have done suggests most people don't get their class date for a few months after they receive the news.... strange. Maybe Navy really needs CEC right now. Not sure.

There are many possible reasons, another became injured, didn't graduate on time, a person backed out, there was a spot to get someone earlier (all still FY 17), etc...... I have seen all of those happen.

With those scenarios would that spot be open to anyone or only someone with a similar designator?

nearly always no, they look where that person is going down the road, so if Supply they are going to Supply school, or CEC then they are going to CECOS, etc...

That's what thought, wasn't sure if there was still hope for the nov class
