Final Select Purgatory

So, according to my OR, CIRIMS is showing thay my FINSEL was sent out on 5/13/14, but neither my recruiter nor myself have received it and there is no date loaded in CIRIMS (not sure if there is supposed to be).

Anyone have any valid insight as to why this might be?

I'm not sure if I am going to have an interview because I am in the Navy right now and have a security clearance. I was told to just wait for my FINSEL letter and sign it

You were selected back in August, correct? AFAIK, about half of the folks from December and all of the folks from February are waiting for their FINSELs. (I'm only talking about IDC here, a whole bunch of piloty types have gotten theirs.)

I'm trying to not worry about it and enjoy my summer break. Emphasis on "trying."

Others that went on the same board got their FS a lot sooner than mine. Just be patient, there is nothing to worry.

Edit: and yes I got selected last year

From what I took from the process is if you have a current clearance it's just re-activated/picked up by the Navy. At least thats what happened with mine, they submitted my SF86 once I got the pro-y and had my clearance picked up that week. No one batted an eye it seemed so I just accepted it as norm.
 
OR finally got back to me, she is on vacation. FINSEL is at PM's desk for signature, and they are thinking an August date, said she'd call back by the end of the week with a solid date.
