I think maybe the AF was conducting their flight physicals at the same location and they wandered over into the blue area.....

haha...hey quick question...when i got the eyedrops which made my eyes dilate...after about 20 min's...i felt all woosey...and could barely walk, like i was f'ed up seriously....it didn't wear off for about 2 hrs, luckily i met a couple of girls there and she drove me to get lunch. did anyone else have this happen? i've heard of those drops containing a "cocaine-like" substance, but ****...that has never happened to me before! also, how many days does it take for your pupils to return to normal...i'm sick of wearing sunglasses already!!!

I had my eyes dilated for MEPS and was back to normal a few hours later. I never got buzzed at all; just sensitive, itchy eyes.

Yeah, after I had my eyes dialated I was pretty buzzed to. My eyes stayed dialted for 4 days afterwards, but my eyes dialte very easily. but it looked pretty cool, looked like I had cat eyes.

The first time I had my eyes dilated, they didn't tell me what the drops were for. I was reading a magazine waiting for the next station, and the words were becoming harder and harder to read. My eyes started watering and itching. I took the last eye exam, and was told to come back after lunch. Off I went with no sunglasses, nothing. I had NO idea what was going on. Later someone told me, "Oh, they dilated your eyes..." I'm surprised I didn't crash diving to and from lunch. Not fun at all. (no ladies around to drive for me :( )

I was kidding about the fingers right after the blood pressure check. Just trying to get his heart racing.

Eye dilation sucks but our tech gave us disposable shades. I felt all emotional after the drops. The three of us were waiting in there and we began to open up to eachother. Weird. My pupils were 95% functional within 4-5 hours and 100% the next day.

nope Gonzodogg, 4 days, my eyes dialte very easily so with those drops it just made it even worse so the drops didn't wear off so quickly

Luckily my dilation only lasted a little longer than a day. It was pretty terrible though, as I've never had my eyes dilated before (I've got 20/10 vision, so there's never been a need for me to see an optomotrist before this) The doc was nice enough to dilate my eyes, then tell me he was going on lunch and come back in an hour and a half. I had to get a fellow candidate to guide my blind stumbling behind to the McDonald's on base, then have her order and pay for my meal, since I couldn't tell ****e from shinola.
