Just having some fun. There is no answer to your question. Everything from manning, to weather, to aircraft availability, to type selection to needs of the navy, budget constraints (or excess) to safety stand-downs and so on. It could honestly be anywhere from 18 months to 48 months.

An important question has been avoided here:

What the hell is this "JO course," and is it related to this weird chaplain thing we're making primary poolees do here in Corpus?

Since I dont think this has been truly answered yet, for anyone wondering. They gave us nothing about the course before the first round started on Jan 4. Basically its a a more in depth DIVO fundamentals course from OCS with field trips to Whiting and TW6 to learn how to walk on a flight line etc. So some sounds useful and some is more of "this is a reminder on how to wear your uniform." It's not officially part of the curriculum yet, but they expect it to be eventually. So add this to the phase 1 requirements before you can class up. But as they have told us ad nauseam at this point that "this is coming from a 4 star" and "it's everything we wish we knew before we hit the fleet" you can't skip it or take leave either.

Does anyone know if you still do BOLTC (or DIVOLC) after winging? It sounds like, so far, it's a different syllabus and intent than this pre-NIFE DIVO course.

At least as of a couple of years ago you get it at some point while you're in the RAG.

I did DIVOLC after being syllabus complete at the FRS (30)
