we never got a concrete answer but it wouldn't be as long as A-pool... now with that being said there are still a ton of Academy kids and ROTC who have yet to report to command so the SNA line can start backing up at any moment. when i checked in there were 10 Academy grads that had 2month waiting period until they reported in so who knows how many more are also waiting
 
I never understood why people wanted to rush thru flight school unless it was to get out a couple sooner MSR? Besides the muster silliness, you have no responsibility. Enjoy the time and go doing something active for yourself. Am I wrong here?

Rushing means flying more regularly, right?

If you want to become proficient at something, you need to do it on the regular. I went from FAM1 to wings in 11 months last century, with a lot of 2 flights/day days in there. You get up on the step at that pace.

Although there are worse things in life than drinking Bushwackers on Pensacola Beach.

Because the only thing worse than being in school is waiting for school to start. I had a truncated aviator career, but I can’t imagine being an O-3 waiting to “class up” for FRS - what a waste of corporate knowledge learning time.

Not everyone who shows up is a boot Ensign. If you're behind your peers, getting started sooner can matter later.
