Astb Changes!

OK....PAY ATTENTION, I'm only going to type this once:
NOMI is releasing three (3) *NEW* ASTB forms called 3, 4, and 5. When they are released in JUNE, the old forms 1 and 2 will no longer be used.

Another change is that recruiters (and OSO's) will not have the ability to grade the ASTB for an "Un-Official" score...EVERYONE's test will be graded at NOMI with ONE exception:

The APEX (the on-line version of the ASTB) will be available at most (if not all) recuiting offices and ROTC's. After taking the APEX version of the ASTB, the computers in Pensacola will tell your score IMMEDIATELY. At this time, the APEX version is OPTIONAL and you will not be forced to take it on the computer....

Bottom line: the test are similar but different...the Navy & Marine Corps want to make sure you have the ability to do aeronautical stuff.....Stop freaking out and just study....

you are actually right, I did more research and heard and read the same, however is not in place either, they say June but it is going to take much more time to incorporate the new and online versions. I am sure they would have to be similar in content, but they are looking for a more efficient way to test and get results faster......so for those who want to take it, take it now

What are going to be the differences im taking form 3 in july what should i study and what will be similar and what will not be similar please let me know thankyou
