I just took form one today and i think that i did ok. I hope that it is enough for a flight contract with the Marines. The test did not really surprise me except for the SA part. It is alot different then the ARCO book. I can do the ARCO book backwords and fowards but the test was alot different. Is there a better study guide. I am suposse to know how i did in three weeks. Does any one know what i need for the Marines.

I took the ASTB through the Marines a little over a month ago and got really good scores. The only thing I used to study was the gouge on this site. I would highly recommend you study it. I had heard that the SA from ARCO was different that the ASTB version. I'd recommend you look over the gouge on this site.

I astb a month ago. I'm pretty sure all you need is 4/6 for the marines. It was a lot easier than i thought it was going to be. People make it out to be worse than it really is.

I took mine Yesterday. The SA pictures look differnet in the ARCO book, which might throw some people off. Also, in the ARCO book, the plane only does 45 degree turns, whereas in the ASTB, it can do 45 or 90. Other than that, everything was exactly the same as the gouge, with different numbers.

I got a 7/7 on it, how does that measure to what most other people got?

I took the old version of the test.

My OSO said that the test was supposed to have changed in March, which means 3 or 4 months after March.
