Fort Worth JRB Airshow

Sure was, wouldn't miss a chance to see the greatness of The Blue Angels!
good show, great weather.
 
I was fortunate enough to have been burned out there! Caught it from about noon onward. Was a pretty good show--sadly I saw the blue angels two weeks prior in Atlanta (I took my folks to the JRB show).
 
I was there as well... got a different view as I was located at Lockheed Martin, opposite from the public. I liked it a little more, seemed like the jets stayed overhead more. Overall, great show! I was fortunate enough to watch it twice, I saw the practice run on the previous friday, just as great.
 
I went to it while I was home on leave. I thought it was much better than the one they had in 04, but then again they did a great job on that one considering it was pretty much only assets they had on base. I thoroughly enjoyed this year's show. There were a lot of static displays, of course I was partial to the TH-57s. I really liked the demo the F-18s and the C-130 did in regards to taking the airfield.
 
I was in Ft. Worth as well. However, since the airshow clobbered JRB and we needed a gas and go, AFW was a much better option. I do have to say that the "show" behind the counter at the FBO was worth the stop.

Unfortunately the rock on the finger was phenominal, as well. At least I can dream... It's good to hear it's more than one shift, as the place was freakin' nice as well, so I definitely want to go back.
 
damn. looks like theres a whole train of them....er....group of them from miami. Why do I always get stuck on the flights with chicks who are twice the size of the beverage cart?
