Thank you for all of your help and insight for those of us trying to make it into OCS. I submitted a package in early Feb for Intel/Supply/SWO. I know the Intel board is closed so does that mean my package is going to go in the discard pile or will it automatically go to the Supply/SWO boards as well? Would you mind checking the application status for my package? Catherine Van Bebber NRD Dallas. I really appreciate following your posts to get straight answers and thank you for taking the time to answer all of our continuous and (probably) redundant questions.

you are at board for SWO only, Supply is closed out probably till fall at best based on the newest report.

August is probably going to be the only board as the quota for FY 13 is "3" in general they pick active duty, with maintenance background, and I was told generally E-6
 
Thank you for the quick reply. I'm an active duty AS that is finishing my degree in November. So you don't think there will be a board in February due to the low selection numbers? Thank you again.

It is listed as TBD but no I don't think it will happen, in the past they had had just one board per year for AMDO that actually happened.

Wanted to confirm for Intel- are you saying the AUG 12 board is cancelled and they may have one in OCT 12 but you're not sure? Thanks.

I would not expect to see any INTEL selects for quite a while, IW maybe, but I don't have the board schedule in front of me right now.

I just wanted clarification. July's boards for SWO...SWO/IP etc. are for FY13 and they're expected to be closed?
 
July is expected to be Pilot/NFO/SWO, however the number of SWO billets is unknown, if any.

No SWO options, they were picked in April

You said applications for the July 2012 Pilot board are due beginning of June. I had Lasik surgery mid-December 2012, and have completed all subsequent check-ups. My application is complete with ASTB scores, medical, etc. except for the Lasik waiver. I cannot apply for the waiver until mid-June (6 months after), correct? If that is the case, what is the possibility of submitting my application for the July board date and pursuing this waiver as soon as possible? Will my lack of waiver automatically disqualify my application, even if I can complete the waiver before the board convenes?
