Exactly! I'm 6' and at 225lbs today. Damn homebrewing go to me. Doing a tap measurement, i need to lose 3 inches. As per 2 weeks ago, I reduced my calories from 2200 to 1200, no processed foods/fried foods... Very healthy diet now and burning maybe 1k calories from exercise plus whatever is burned from normal activity. I have never been a snacker, I have only eaten 2 meals per day (unhealthy lunch and an ok dinner). Like I said, I never consumed many calories - it was just the beer and no exercise. Don't eat sweets, don't eat chips, nothing ever added to coffee... Besides beer, im sure the lack of exercise put my metabolism to a screeching halt. I sit in an office 9 hrs and day and commute 3 hrs a day. That's 12hrs sitting, not to forget the sitting during grad classes. There is some walking involved. I work in the 2nd largest federal building in the country - theres just no way to calculate the walking since no personal devices are allowed in the building.
