FY09 STA-21 Soup to selection and beyond MEGA thread

I am thinking about either enlisting to the air force or navy as an officer and wanting to find a place where i can get the best type of study guide for the entery exams to either training schools air force(OTS) or Navy (OCS)? And what would be the lowest score i can get inorder to be accepted.

I think you are in the wrong forum. If you want to enter as an officer I would recommend not "enlisting", or else you end up playing the waiting game as we currently are. Try a different forum and you might get more helpful responses.

I think that prior enlisted officers are perhaps some of the best the fleet has got. That being said, I think that playing the "waiting game" is well worth the outcome. No one knows the wants and needs of blue shirts better than the blue shirts themselves and the prior e's. Just my opinion.

I cannot disagree that the best officers I have served with (including my previous CO) have been prior enlisted. I am just saying that if I knew back then what I know now than I would have entered as an officer vice entered as enlisted where I have to redo all of the Nuclear Power Training I have received although my knowledge of the subject is far greater than most of the JO's I serve with.

Still no 282/08... come on.

Just think of it as another year you don't have duty, underways or equipment that you have to watch people fix. That is how I am looking at it and it makes me happy That is an actual picture of my face.
