On another note, I saw someone mention something regarding seeing a Advancement Exam NAVADMIN on the high side as being 303 or 304. Which makes me wonder about another thing we're all awaiting... any word on advancement exam results?

Well, i just said it depends. It's situational... Did I just find out? Or was he blatently caught doing something/acting a certain way? Is he my friend? Hardworker?
I gave them a movie reference that deals with a guy on your team being gay... The Rocker.
One of the LDOs told me that you can be as gay as a 3 dollar bill in the Navy--you just can't tell anybody... and you can't participate in homosexual conduct while around other Sailors.
I got a lot of the opposite: "you're up for Chief this year, why go Officer and start back at the bottom"? and stuff like the difference between a Chief and an E7... why not LDO... what would my relationship with the Chief be like if I was a new Ensign...

This was my favorite question on the board. I got all of them to crack up laughing with this answer:
"From an operational standpoint, if I have someone in my division and because their significant other is the same sex, they can't get pregnant, that's two less people we have to worry about having a baby and messing up my manning for deployments"

I didn't get any weird questions... I did score pretty well on my other command interview. The squadron XO asked what my wife's interests were so I spouted off a bunch of stuff and told him I was really thankful for her sense of interior decorating to which they all started laughing (probably bc he was the highest ranking and he was laughing) and he said "That's good, I'm going to tell my wife I appreciate all the money she spent and her 'interior decorating!'" It was pretty funny and made the rest of my interview go pretty well.
They asked my strengths and weaknesses, I had thought about the strengths beforehand (common question so why not)... but forgot to think about weaknesses... Probably looked like an idiot but it didn't seem to hurt me on the final comments.

When the results came out on Monday, what time was it? Just trying to get a feel for how they do business on Mondays.

When the results come out they will have to be PM'ed not posted since they aren't official until the navadmin comes out, the moderators put that out last year.

If they are posted they will only be up for a few minutes before one of the administrators will take them down due to them not being able to verify the validity of the message.
Hopefully the person who gets it will be nice enough to email the "unofficial" message out to everyone. I know three guys on here that are trying to get in and I would love to have to go and wake them up to tell them they got in.
