hmmm... dilemma: 1)STA-21 Results not out yet (duh), now ASSUMING a positive result: 2)If they come out soon enough, I will not have to take orders to move to New York, 3)If they don't come out soon enough, I will have to suffer through getting paid a couple thousand dollars to live in NY for a couple weeks. I don't know which would be better if the result is positive: a sooner or later answer, all I know is my patience wore thin about 2 weeks ago :)

I approved quite a few last night as well. Since we can see last names on the Facebook group it will hopefully be easier to get the results out if we can't find a way to post the actual mesage.

You shouldn't be getting transferred with the application in.

This is true. I transferred this past April, but I tried not to in order not to disrupt my "package putting together" process (Okay, and cause I loved my command and didn't want to go to sea duty). They told me that I had to transfer, however, if my package was already submitted and my transfer date was AFTER the application deadline, my orders would be put on hold until the results came out. Therefore your package is in, it is past July 1st, so you are not eligible to transfer. Just warning you, if you do they might take your money back...

He's in power school. Nukes can transfer from power school to prototype while waiting on results. They just can't transfer out of the pipeline. I tried to use the rationale last year to not transfer to prototpye and they said Navsea08/NR says you can/have to transfer.

Once results come out and you get picked up, then the normal rules apply.

Since they have so many people put in packages while in the pipeline, nobody would ever transfer and would be a major issue dealing with 50 students sitting around from May until November waiting on results. So they will let you go to prototype, but won't let you leave from there.

Roger, didn't know the member was in power school or that they had different rules.
