Relax people, here is what they told me today:
"Anticipating NAVADMIN release by next week. The Admiral has been on travel and he will return this Friday."

Earliest is next Monday :(

I wouldnt despair too easy..Let all remember that there has been NavAdmin released this weeke already. This means that obviously there is some means for the navy to go on and fuction even when the admiral is doing a D&P show at a symposium. I would venture to guess that the ERB results are playing a big role in the release of our results. The only issue i have at this point is since they have known those and ours for awhile, What is it that they are waiting for?

Doesn't by next week mean that it could still happen this week or am I thinking crazy? From what I read it seems to be that it's still possible to get them this week but by saying by next week it covers them just in case so they aren't spreading false info.

They need a "Current News" sections on the STA-21 website to communicate these little important tidbits of information, It would take 2 minutes to post a blirb and give us some info, juuust sayin.

To ease everyones mind, the Admiral has a traveling staff that processes all of his paperwork/messages when he is on travel/missions. I know this bc I worked on a 4 star Admiral's staff for a coue years doing just that. Let's hope they get put out soon!

Yeah thats why i have the thoughts i do about results. I talked to the personal YN of our 2 star for my strike group and she was explaining the same thing. This is why i have to disagree with dave and his email between him and Mr. Paros. I woul.d have to agree with this post below. We all know how the navy works and uses its word play to cover itself. Its like how the website used to say early october and now says results released in october. Im trying to not freak out here and apply common sense as much as possible. I highly doubt that just because he is at that symposium, message traffic halts for a week. That doesnt make sense for single event as that to cripple messages for a week. What are we coming to congress and the august recess during a unprecedented defecit issue? I think not i still have more confidence in our leadership than that.

So how many nukes follow this thread, and how many applied for nuke only, just out of curiousity.

I'm an MM2 out on the GW. You can only do the NUKE option as an instructor or student in the pipeline (Not that I would want to). I'm going for SWO/CORE.

So, been stalking this thread for months now and finally caved.. I wonder why we would be held up for ERB results when they put out that if you are selected for STA-21 you are automatically taken out of the ERB pot.
