FY12 STA-21 Applicants

I have lost faith in the results coming out this week. My new guess is that they will come out by the end of next week. If they aren't out by then I am going to go crazy.

You guys think that the reason why it takes so long to release the results is because the navy wants to see how people handle the stress that comes with waiting for them to be released?

Maybe I already have gone crazy...

If you notice both programs state that you can not be applying for any other commissioning program while applying to one of those, so one or the other. I'd wait for the flying CWO cause unless you have 12 years in you don't get to retire, those guys will be lucky to make CWO4 but will not make CWO5 and just like regular officers 2 looks and your out, but rumor through the navy vine that they're looking into reinstating the WO1 for this program and making it a long TIR before promotion to fix that problem.
I checked on that with Ed Straten. He stated you can apply for both but can not be "enrolled" in another program when this occurs. I am an applicant in that program too. Any others? There was a huge influx of Flying CWO applicants this year.

My bet is that it has been sitting on someones desk for the past week and a half and they haven't gotten around to taking care of it.

Actually I spoke with a Flying Warrant and he told me that the program is now 100% active so no worries for the retirement issue. This was the first year that it is not a PILOT program anymore.
