Try going to the Logistics person in your squadron (a civilian). You may just be able to rent one from him/her. I did that my entire tour but unfortunately I didn't find it to be any more comfortable, and actually more of a pain in the ass. I think it was a 2" one. I went w/ the Wings green thingy, and even then, mostly just used it on CCX. YMMV.
