Maybe we can talk Greenpeace into putting their boat in SFO bay during fleet week so they can Protest the Blue's flying (see other thread under current news) and then numbers 5 & 6 can show them what happens when you put a hornet about 5 feet off the water with burners on.

Give them some more water damage lessons on boat repairs.:icon_tong

kind of like my Avatar picture except with hornets? =) or they can test laser guided missiles/bombs at them.

Flashback 1989


Back in 1989 - during Sub based Tomahawk SLCM missile test shoots in the Carribean - we in HC-6 detted 2 Phrogs to provide range support and security.

Greenpeace actively attempted to disrupt the shoot with large rubber boats - and these were taken down by the good fellows at Seal Team 8 - and us with some judicious use of our rotor wash - Oh and I think the CS cannisters that were thrown in their boats from our helo had something to do with it :)

The Seal folks boarded and cut the fuel lines to the engines, swam out, and the missile shoot continued unabated!
