Look out for more people being stashed again before going down to P-cola.

My original orders were to report in August (less than a week after I graduate), but just got a message from my LT that I would be hanging around school (stashed at my ROTC unit) until December.

Looks like you P-cola guys are movin along too slow so they're letting some people do IFS through their ROTC units again.

Some of our new Ensigns are saying that there is about a 5 month wait to start API. See if you can get IFS done before you go...that will cut out some of the wait time.

Yeah, I believe we have over 300 Ensigns in the A-Pool waiting to class up for API. (not exaggerated). I've been waiting since February, and was told I still have 6-7 more weeks to wait (for Whiting that is). So, enjoy the time home. I'd rather be stashed at home than here in P'Cola.

Welcome to A-Pool... get a job out in town or something, because all you're gonna do is sit around all day and play PS2. After 6 months even Grand Theft Auto Vice City gets old. Might as well earn some addition cash while you're at it. That is unless you get screwed with a really crappy stash job where you have to work 8 hours a day. Give it up for dodging the bullet for 5 months straight...

All of us are scheduled to do IFS while we're up here. I'm pretty psyched about it - its one more football season and all the benefits of being in school without the classes.

Aww, cmon, you can't tell me there isn't a certain percentage of the female population that would want to jump your bones if you're walkin around in uniform. Maybe the working khakis aren't the sexiest things on the block, but there's something definitely regal about SDBs, or whites.

Maybe not as bad as Top Gun, but, someone out there's gonna swoon over you, at least from afar :icon_smil
