Did the radiation do that to her face, or did her face do that to the camera?
That's my mother.

When you go to a Red Flag at Nellis AFB, all the flying is done just north of Area 51. You can look south and see the runway, hangars, etc. They actually brief you on the first day that you can divert there in an emergency but expect to be stuck there for a while.
Non-disclosure agreement. Fly, I'm disappointed. I thought you were a computer geek enough that you would have seen those referenced before.
Lots of times during a flag, they'll let those who are properly read in to fly right through R-4808. Been there, done that, it's just another airfield folks. No kidding? That's interesting, although in the grand scheme of things, it makes sense. It's not like they'd have an Aurora just sitting out on the apron. A friend of mine who was a F-14 RIO said that during one det out to Fallon (or thereabouts), one of the crews blundered into the one restricted area over the site. I guess they were flying in one of the restricted areas nearby. He, of course, didn't see a thing, and quickly exited. When he landed, there was already a black Surburban waiting for him and they immediately wisked him a way. "Later," he came back and everyone asked what happened. All he'd say was, "Don't ask me anything." Apparently they scared him w/ enough NDAs that he didn't want to talk about the "debrief."
I'm only the messenger, so that's the story that was told to me. Schnugg might be able to validate it, as my buddy was a -213 guy about the same time as Schnugg.
check out windows live local: http://local.live.com/. Its less user friendly but the photograph resolution is a lot better.
Bullsh!t. Who are you kidding? I've seen Independence Day. :icon_winkLots of times during a flag, they'll let those who are properly read in to fly right through R-4808. Been there, done that, it's just another airfield folks.

If all the images are 15 years old why does Fenway have Green Monster seats (installed 2003)?The pictures on there are atleast 15 yrs old.

Maybe the ones you were looking at are outdated.
I was looking at stuff back home and all the pictures were pre-1991. I know that because we had a tornado come through that spring and wiped everything away.
They must've updated Fenway and other "major" attractions...
