I found a Facebook site from one Spencer Nieffenegger, and it clearly shows a name on one of the jets. Lt. Col. Ferkovich. But then again, when I google who was Ferkovich's wingman, Google AI tells me it's Lt. Spencer Nieffenegger, lol!
 
Look man, I'm interested in who the pilots were. Nobody died or was even seriously injured, were that not the case I wouldn't be asking. Only an asshole would do that. Yes, I am a former NFO. But if everyone on this forum is as up tight as you, I probably won't be contributing much.

You can learn the names if the Navy releases them, which is unlikely. Did you really think someone was going to tell you here?

Seriously dude, what did you expect? Out of curiosity, what squadrons were you in? We were JOs around the same time.
 
The names, or I guess a few possible names, were actually public if you knew where to look. Luckily they got smart and took down where those were posted.
