Thats good. In the future though try not to get offended so easily. On this site a lot of guys (and gals) joke around with each other. Good luck this summer.

I think you should show up in a Smokey Bear hat. Just start yelling at candidates when you get down there. When an SI comes over to you, pat him on the back and tell him.., "Yo, you can go home... I got this $hit"

it does not matter what the hell kind of hair cut you go there just make sure its short. The first couple of days you won't be noticing anybody's hair you will be think what in the $#Q# did I get myself into. Then they will be giving you a nice little buzz cut.... I promise you the first week is the worst. After that every week is set up the same and very similar in style, increasing difficulty gradually. Every week you will be waiting for some big thing to happen and make it so hard and it never happens. If go in good shape just no the 1st week is a culture shock and sucksand after that its not bad at all. I just graduated and am here thinking thats it.. cuz its not that bad

Yeah, i know, i've done it. I would hate for guys to think it was easy because it wasn't. You must have gotten lucky with an easy staff or something or maybe you just have a bad memory.
If it was easy, everyone would do it right?

They say when someone's been through a traumatic experience they will repress those memories to maintain sanity. He sounds like a likely candidate for that. :D I know I did that when I left the Navy. lol

On a side note, that's probably the first and last time my Psych (degree)knowledge will be applied in any fashion. heh

I think when somebody means that OCS was "easy" it really just means that looking back, it really wasn't all that bad, considering they finished and all. OCS is by no means easy, but from my experience looking back, I find myself thinking, "Was that it?" Remember though, hindsight it 20/20.

i just got out of 185 and i had a great time. there were times that i was challenged, but never really pushed beyond my limits. however, i prepared myself for absolute hell, so it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be. so when someone says that it was easy, i think it depends what your preconcieved notions of the program were going into it. also, if you aren't prepared physically, that will dick everything up for you.
the only evolutions that were heinous were the quigley and sule x, but that was due to the nature of the winter class (water that is near freezing). oh, inspections sucked too, but that is because i hate standing at attention for 3 hours.
