Have to leave the PLC program.

Turns out I'm moving back to my hometown. Rent is pricy for attending university in Florida, so I've decided I'm going back to Miami with my parents. I have to drop the PLC program because I won't be within the OSO's region anymore. I'm enrolling in my new school for sophomore year so I'm going to start looking into Navy BDCP instead. Does anyone here have some thread recommendations regarding BDCP? Any prior experience with the program? Seems like a pretty good deal getting full time pay along with BAS and BAH. I'm currently working as a Pharmacy Tech but being able to focus full time on school sounds great.

Thanks! Did some reading on a few of the older posts earlier. Unfortunately, no insight on any changes since they've brought it back recently (If they've even changed it at all).

So… perhaps nothing changed about it at all? As what was hinted here, there’s already a ton of info at your disposal.

Considering the program has made a resurgence, I wanted to hear from others who may be going through the process now since there are really no new posts about it. Honestly though after speaking to an officer recruiter today it seems the same. 60 Credits required to apply, mark down your designation of choice (SNA, SWO, NFO, whatnot), be considered active duty E-4 as a student. I'll be applying for it when I finish 60 credits and I'll provide some updates if I remember for those interested in applying themselves.

You’re still missing the mark - there’s definitely applicants who have successfully applied and made it in.

You just need to take the 1-2 minutes to search.

You're right. I didn't realize the thread pages were ordered from older to newer. Upon going to the very end, I found some helpful new information. Thank you.
