If I remember correctly from cruise last summer, ECMO 1 (up front) handles radios/nav/HARM/some EW stuff, but I have forgotten the difference between ECMO's 2/3. Obviously the pilot flies.......maybe someone who knows what they are talking about can elaborate?

Both backseats are identical - just a matter of what side of the jet you like to sit on.

Front Right: ECMO1 (Co-Pilot, Nav, Radios, ES/EA)
Back: ECMO 2(R)/3(L) (ES/EA, Aviate, Navigate, Communicate Back-up)

Well, by backseat I mean the "EW system," but you're right. ECMO-3 gets a .4 second headstart. The trade-off is that you may not get a full harness retraction before your seat fires.
