Honor Classes

If you get all those you get another shiny piece of cloth that says "honor" and you get to use that word every time you refer to yourselves as a class. That's about it.

Not entirely. 04-06 and 05-06 didn't get the academic streamer. Bother classes made honor class. Your overall class ranking in the past 10 classes is what matters. To be an honor class you have to be Top 3 of the last 10. OR, your class team can make the recomendation that you be an honor class to the Director of OCS, and he can approve it.

I feel so cheated! 09-04 missed the Honor class distinction by one streamer! Oh the horror! It has left such dark hole in my Naval career.............

That's jacked. We got all of them but academics too but we didn't get honor class. There was no way they could compare us to previous classes because we were a pilot class on a different program (not THE new wussy one everyone is talking about here on AW but different none the less)

That's jacked. We got all of them but academics too but we didn't get honor class. There was no way they could compare us to previous classes because we were a pilot class on a different program (not THE new wussy one everyone is talking about here on AW but different none the less)
 
Honor class shmoner class, it doesnt matter, nothing at OCS matters in your Naval Career!!!! Move on and be an honor class in your follow on school. That will make the difference.
 
My class, (17-01) had its share of turds, but we managed to be a 4 streamer "honor" class.... ask me now how much that really means to me. The Rocque had just gotten on deck when I showed up....but he didn't mess with us too bad because GySgt Burns was our DI.
