Hoping to put in for SNFO soon, I was wondering during your time in applying what was your sources of LORs and if you don't mind sharing your ASTB-E scores. Thanks in advance.

I am very appreciative of your inputs. They are definitely very bold and promising. I salute all of you. I am taking OAR and ASTB very soon, and hopefully be amongst you serving the Great Navy of the Great USA.

Way to revive an old thread A+

But if you have any questions shoot my a PM, I'm less than a year out of flight school into the FRS.

Just checked back here, surprised the thread is still going! Life took a different direction on this end. Hoping to have a Navy career unrelated to aviation but that’s for another sub-forum. Unrelated but does anyone know if the NFO pipeline was closed for Marines?

As of 6 months ago there were still new Marines checking in for VT86 jet training, but I don't know if they stopped selecting them in TBS/ROTC. I do know at one time they knew exactly what number they were i.e., "I'm the 3rd last marine NFO"

To my knowledge they've stopped selecting them for the OSO and NROTC and I'm pretty sure the Academy.

I've been told that the last Marine WSO is in primary.

There was 1 Marine NFO in my API class (graduated April 2019) and there were some people referencing him being the last one. But who knows if that's actually true or not.
